Nothing is worse than tossing, turning and plumping your pillow all night trying to get some sleep all to no avail. Numerous thoughts and worries run through your mind keeping you awake. Not any more with these herbal sleep aids. Now you can get a peaceful nights sleep the herbal way.

Herbal sleep aids

Chamomile is one of the most gentle and relaxing sleep aids and is safe for children. It eases stress and induces sleep easily due to its sedative properties. Chamomile is very effective for tired nervous systems and for people who worry about everything as it calms worry and hop elessness. It is even suitable for children.

Chamomile Tea

Steep 1 tbs of dried or fresh herb in 1 cup of boiling water. Cover the cup to keep in the essential oils. The longer you steep, the more effective it will be. Don’t steep too long or it will be bitter. Take this tea 2 hours before you would like to go to sleep.

Lavender

Lavender is well known for its soothing and calming properties. This herb helps relax tension and induce sleep. A lavender spray mist can be misted on pillows and sheets to soothe and calm you allowing your mind to rest. I have lavender mist for sale in my shop.

An herbal sachet with lavender, chamomile and hops can be placed under the pillow to help induce sleep. Take a tea or tincture to prepare for sleep.
